Jewels for Autumn!
The color pallet that Oscar De la Renta chose for his collection was sky blue, powder pink and neutrals for his fall 2012.The jewel prints were made of actual photographs and the models also had jewels decorating their hair with crystal-encrusted headbands.The showing was dominated by light layering, ladylike hemlines just above the knee. Luxurious fabrics of silk, fur, lace, chiffon and cashmere. There were fishnets, gorgeous ballgowns with tulle skirts that just got bigger and bigger. Oscar De la Renta brought youthful and playful ambiance to the new season.
