Style Inspiration: Nicolas K Fall 2015 Ready to Wear

I'm truly here for the sexy dark Gothic elements of Steampunk along with all the futuristic aviator vibes.

There were high leg slit sheer gowns in dip-dyed silk,opera-length leather gloves, and elongated mid-thigh-high-stockings.

Collection FW15

The theme of aviation and flight was intriguing.
1920's inspired aviators glasses and  leather caps in style :)

    Aviator Jackets.

Long capes with fur hoodies.

My Favorite Runway Collections from NY Fashion Week Spring 2013.

                    Betsey Johnson Birthday Bonanza Bash.

Girls just want to have Fun! Yes FUN and more FUN!This show was all about Betsey!  It was youthful, fun and crazy.  On her 70th birthday the designer put on an epic bash to celebrate the occasion, as well as a career that has spanned five decades.

Models with teased-out, crimped hair hammed it up for the photo pit.

60's, 80's and 90's looks.

Coat paired with a burnout slip-dress.

Rock/Grunge/Punk world that it is.

The 00's

Cyndi Lauper who came out and sang a couple of her hits, including "True Colors" and "Girls Just Want To Have Fun."

Wow look at the split I want to be like her when I grow up haha.

Dear Betsey Johnson, You are an inspiration, you really know how to party and know what girls love.  You make us feel girly with all your designs, clothing and accessory options. I want to come back as Betsey Johnson in my next life!

Happy Birthday, Betsey!!

 Sandi Martini

Marc Jacobs

As you guys know I Love 60's fashion and I was dazzled to see that Marc Jacobs had a strong 60's-influenced in his Spring 2013 ready to wear collection.
This collection is bold, the colours and geometric patters gives this collection an unconventional look. The models' hair and makeup also rock!

Oscar De La Renta.

There was a definite 60's feel to this collection, the full skirts
and three-quarter-length sleeves on jackets, sweaters, and cardigans. It seems to me this collection is inspired by Barbie Dolls.  It's youthful and colorful with his established elegance through his evening wear.

This gown got to my attention

KUDOS!! to Oscar De La Renta.
