Anne Hathaway apologized for what she wore to the Oscars since she did not wear a  Valentino dress.  She's known to have a close relationship with the Designer.

The Blue trend.

Reese Witherspoon's strapless Louis Vuitton gown, complete with a black-ribbon.
Singer Jennifer Hudson donned a navy gown, she looked beautiful in a dress that was very conservative in its cut but the fit looked so good.  She wore a Roberto Cavalli Couture dress.
The blue trend also carried over to 9-year-old actress Quvenzhane Wallis, who wore a blue Armani Junior princess dress.

I was very surprised to see the First Lady Michelle Obama. Presenting the final award of the night  for  Best Picture.  The President's wife,  appearing via satellite from the White House.

Check out this article about Michelle Obama's dress being altered by the Iranian Media to cover her body without her consent.

It's hard to pick a favorite, but I think these ladies stole the show. Jessica Chastian, Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence and Halley Berry were all absolutely stunning.
